Austin B-cycle will be hosting a morning fueling station for all early morning bike commuters with fresh coffee and baked goods provided by Lavazza Espression! Stop by on your ride, fuel up, learn about B-cycle, and pick up some great giveaways from our partners. We look forward to meeting you all and celebrating biking on May 16!

Bikealot will host a breakfast station with delicious food including bagels and spreads from Einstein Brother’s bagels, freshly roasted coffee from Amaya Roasting, some fruit and healthy snacks.  We will be handing out door prizes to some lucky riders from us and some of the companies we work with.

PBK will be serving up tasty breakfast tacos and coffee alongside our Bike Month Membership Drive. Just $10 gets you an annual membership and bumper sticker, plus, all new & renewing members will receive one drink ticket (for 21+) and one entry into our raffle to be held during our Wrap Party & Art Auction at ABGB. Every additional $10 donation or jump in membership level is rewarded with additional raffle entries, t-shirts, and more. Come enjoy the morning celebration at City Hall. We will have Breakfast tacos, fruit and baked goods from Whole Foods,juice from Juiceland, and coffee from Jo’s. We will also have a few booths: Bike Texas, Bike Austin, MyCommuteSolutions, Waterloo Bicycles Mechanic, Clifbar with lots of goodies and electric bikes from Rocket Electrics.

Roll by Clown Dog’s breakfast station on your way to life for some Taco Joint tacos and a hot cup of coffee from JP’s Java. We’ll have a raffle going for a 200 lumen headlight, a free tune-up, and a Topeak Joe Blow air pump. We’re also doing free adjustments while you wait.

Food For Fitness/Castle Hill Bicycles. 1112 North Lamar Boulevard, 78703

Food for Fitness Cafe will be offering organic coffee and samples of granola and nut mix to commuters. Castle Hill Cycles will be offering free labor on minor adjustments or repairs. Come learn about our new Pinarello demo program!

Ghisallo Foundation. LAB 4th Street/I-35 Underpass

We will have KIND bars and coffee. Hand shakes and high-5s. Come by and say hi.

Mister Fruit Cup & Ghisallo Foundation. 2298 Guadalupe

We will have delicious hand made fruit cups inspired by the popular Mexican street-food snack to eat and KIND bars to take with you on your way to work. Come by and say hi.

Start your day off right at Juiceland with delicious, fresh fruit smoothies until 9:30 AM! Your body will thank you for the cooling hydration that will fill you with energy the rest of the day.

Mellow Johnny’s. 400 Nueces Street, 78701

Mellow Johnny’s will serve delicious Stumptown Coffee, an array of tasty pastries via Juan Pelota Cafe, KIND Bars, and “I Rode My Bike” stickers to show your achievement. Remember, Mellow Johnny’s has showers & lockers for commuters. Ride here, clean up, store your bike, and service your bike while you are at work.

Michael F. Adams Station @ Mueller. Near Mosaic Apartments
Hosted Ride out of Mueller leaves wheels down at 7:45 AM leading into town and ending at the convention center.

Stop by the Michael F. Adams Bike to Work breakfast station at Mueller for tacos, coffee, and other food & drink. Mechanics from Windmill Bicycles on site too! It’s always a great stop!! Hosted Ride led out of this fueling station leaves at 7:30 headed into downtown and stopping at the convention center. Ride led by Austin/Travis County Health and Human Services Department.

Rocket Electrics. 1608 E Riverside Dr., 78741

For the 3rd year in a row, Rocket Electrics will be supporting bike commuters in South East Austin by hosting the only Bike to Work station on the East Riverside Corridor. Morning treats include hot coffee, fresh fruit, and grab and go portable breakfast food. We’ll also have one of our Rocket Wrenches on hand for any small adjustments needed.

Wheatsville Coop – Guadalupe. 3101 Guadalupe St., 78705

Wheatsville will once again be one of Austin’s biggest morning Bike to Work Day commuter hubs. Ride on over to either store from 7am-9:30am – enjoy a bite to eat and enter to win some awesome prizes including: a pair of Alamo Drafthouse movie tickets, a week of Yoga from Be Free Yoga (Guadalupe only), handmade Hip Pouch from Fortuna Monsoon and more! At Guadalupe, chat with folks from the Compost Peddlers and The Juice Well or stretch out with a little morning yoga from 8am-9am, we’ll also have KOOP Radio on-site! At South Lamar, morning yoga begins at 7:30am and you can top it off with  a tasty light breakfast from our awesome vendors and samples from Oriya Organics.  Each rider will receive a canvas messenger bag from Bike Austin!

Wheatsville Coop – Lamar. 4001 S. Lamar Blvd., 78704

Wheatsville will once again be one of Austin’s biggest morning Bike to Work Day commuter hubs. Celebrate Bike to Work day at Bicycle Sport Shop’s Happy Hour from 4 til 6:30. We’ll have tasty snacks provided courtesy of El Meson restaurant and ice cold Real Ale beer accompanied by someone (not yet identified) playing a guitar and singing their heart out.

Bikealot will also host an evening station with many cold hand crafted root beers from Maine Root, pizza from Austin’s Pizza, some fresh fruit and snacks. We will also be handing out more door prizes to winning bike to work participants such as bike lights, T-shirts, helmets, tubes and gloves. Come celebrate biking camaraderie with us, relax, have a drink and a bite to eat on you way home.

Ghisallo Foundation & Gourmands Bike Happy Hour. 2316 Webberville Rd, 78702

Come hang out on Gourmands’ back patio and cool off after a day of riding with two free beers (must have arrived on bike and while supplies last). Shade, plenty of mobile bike parking, and tons of friends. The party is from 5-7 pm but you can stay as long as you like. We will be having a raffle! Come join us.

Drop in for some beer and KIND bars. Free High-5s for everyone. If you are lucky Aries, a three year old brindle Great Dane, will lean on you with unconditional affection while you pet him.

Ozone Bike Department. 3202 Guadalupe St,  78705

Stop by Ozone Bike Dept.  May 16th on your way home from work to celebrate Bike Month. Beginning at 4 and until close, all cyclists are invited to enjoy the customer hospitality center at Ozone and games, games with good prizes.  Cold beer provided by Independence Brewery and Austins Pizza will be bringing the pies.  Games will include door prizes, dart throwing and trivia.

REI Austin-Downtown will host an afternoon party that will include free cupcakes, drinks, music, games, sweepstakes prizes, fun for those participating in Bike 2 Work Day!  Additionally, our “Ask an Expert” certified bike technician will be on hand to answer your mechanical and maintenance questions, and we will even include a special VIP component for REI Co-op Members!  Lots of other booths will be here too: Bike Texas, Clifbar, Ridge Riders and more. All are encouraged to spend time on a bike and get out and enjoy Bike To Work Day!

Join the Rocket team for the 3rd year celebrating the South East Austin bike commuting community! Stop by for some tasty BBQ from our neighbors Blue Ox and wash it down with an ice cold bottle of water or a local beer (ID required). We’ll also have free shaved ice from Rockaway Beach for the first 20 people that come by and say “Gabba gabba hey!”
